Sanitary cleaning
The ongoing sanitary maintenance of the capital is an important area of our work. Every year, the city is maintained through mechanized, manual, and block-by-block street cleaning.
Astana Tazalyq LLP provides year-round sanitary cleaning and maintenance of the capital’s streets and public areas, with operations organized in accordance with seasonal and weather conditions. The company employs approximately 1,500 people and operates a fleet of 428 units of specialized equipment.
The company’s service area covers 182 streets, representing approximately 268 km of urban road network. During the 2025–2026 winter season, more than 600 units of specialized equipment and over 750 road maintenance workers were deployed daily to ensure the timely and efficient cleaning of the capital. Over the course of the winter season, more than 2.2 million cubic meters of snow were removed from the city.
Spring–Summer: streets and sidewalks are cleaned of sand, dust, and litter, with sweeping, washing, and watering operations carried out.
Autumn: leaves, branches, and litter are collected, while drainage channels and public areas are cleaned.
Winter: streets and sidewalks are cleared of snow and ice, roads are treated with anti-icing materials, and snow is transported to designated sites.
